One of Evelynn's classmates is fighting leukemia right now. We appropriately call him, "Sean the Warrior". He and his mom are an amazing example of strength. Evelynn's school put together a team to run in the annual children's hospital fundraiser. The girls and I were honored to participate in support of Sean and his family. It was quite an emotional experience for me. And I also walked away feeling extremely grateful for our health. I explained the walk to Evelynn, but I wasn't sure how much she understood what we were doing. But then later in the day, I heard her tell a friend what we did and she was very proud of herself. I was so glad for her to understand what the experience was all about.
