This weekend, we explored the Children's Festival on Granville Island.
We had no idea what to expect, but it was wonderful!
It was loud and colorful and busy and magical.
Evelynn and her little friends were at a great age for all of the activities.

I am pretty sure this is the first time ever that Evelynn has gotten her face painted. Big deal!
I was proud of her for being adventurous.
She requested "Rapunzel", and she sure does make a pretty cute Rapunzel if I do say so.

Spider'woman', Dinosaur, and Rapunzel

This was the story telling tent. It felt so magical and enchanting!

My lovely friend Rachelle

Evelynn was strangely into these random roaming characters. She kept thinking of things to talk about with them so that they wouldn't walk away.

Meet Rosie, the sock puppet. Evelynn took great care in creating her and she participated in all of the day's activities with us.

She's wearing her raincoat! You just never know if that would work or not. Precious face painting.
