Scott and I just celebrated 5 amazing years of marriage. I am so thankful that God has given me a faithful, loving and supportive husband. We've decided that we would like to celebrate our anniversary at least 55 more times.
Every year, we go away for our anniversary. Even if we are super poor (which we usually are!) we just make it happen. It's usually just one night, but it has been so good to do this. This year we took a bus to Oxford and stayed in a lovely little bed and breakfast just outside of the city. It had just snowed a TON, so the city was beautiful.
We had a great time, and I've decided that next year I really want to go somewhere hot! I guess that's what we get for getting married in the winter.
We strolled around The Ashmolean Museum for quite a while.....because there were some very cool things to see (paintings by Monet!), but also because it was freezing outside.

While you may have gotten married in our winter... It's the middle of summer for Australia, New Zealand and all those other funky places. But I guess in reality it's much easier to escape to California for a warm break in January vs Australia. ANYWAYS! Stoked for you two! And Aubyn, you take brilliant photos! Love your blog! AND I can't wait to see you guys again! Plus that little bundle of joy that has grown oodles these past months! Lots of love!
