Exactly one year has passed since we were blessed to welcome Evelynn into our family. She has changed us forever, and we are so thankful for the change.
In honor of our birthday girl, and Scott's love of the great David Letterman, here are the top 10 things we love about Evelynn Kaye McTaggart:

10. Evelynn is our little book worm. She loves to sit in front of her box full of books and pull them out one by one and turn the pages and talk to the things on the pages in her crazy Japanese/Russian sounding baby language.
9. She can play the harmonica. That's just cool.
8. We love Evelynn's beautiful "dot" on her cheek. We like to think that it was God's finishing touch on a wonderful creation.
7. Evelynn's first word was: Dog. She has an obsession with dogs! This is kind of ironic because neither Scott or I are really that interested in dogs. At random times all through the day, she will stop what she's doing, point out the window, "bark", and then say "Dod" (which is her way of saying "dog").
6. When music comes on, Evelynn has the cutest little bootie shake/head bop thing that she does. Watch out Beyonce!
5. Evelynn's favorite foods: noodles, cheese, grapes and anything I'm eating.
4. Evelynn really loves her Nani and her KayeK. She knows a good woman when she sees one. We are thankful to have 2 amazing Grandmas in her life.
3. She is most happy when she is around lots of people. Evelynn is definitely an extrovert. She loves to interact with anyone she can. Nothing shy about this girl.
2. The only time Evelynn will sit still for an extended period of time is when she's watching Praise Baby. Thirty minutes of cheesy worship music and a peaceful Evelynn. We love Praise Baby.
1. She finally sleeps all the way through the night! (fingers crossed that this continues for a very long time) We have had a tough time getting Evelynn to stay sleeping all night. She seems to really like waking up at odd hours of the night. I never thought that I would be so happy to sleep until 6:30am!
