About 5 years ago, Scott broke his ankle pretty badly, and had to get screws and metal plates put into his ankle. Well, after 4 years of being on the waiting list (one of the downfalls of socialized medicine), Scott finally got an appointment to get the screws and plates in his ankle removed. The surgery went really well, and here he is recovering and napping on the couch with his baby girl.
This is Evelynn's "official" one month photo. Evelynn had her one month check up at the doctor's last week and she now weighs 9 lbs. 15 oz. Almost 10 pounds! She also had a miraculous 4 in growth spurt! Ok, not really....it turns out that they measured her wrong at the hospital when she was born. At the hospital, they measured her at 19 in. , but at her doctor's appointment, she measured at 23 in! hmmmmm..... And they don't measure fingers at the one month check up, but I sure would be curious how long her beautiful fingers are.

That exact things happened to us! Rooke grew a mysterious 2.5 inches from when he was born to his two week check-up!
